TROPICAL COVE

BAMBOO NIGHT
Aloha from The Big Island, Hawaii,
It is what is starting out to be an overcast and still Hawaiian Sunday morning. The trade winds haven't arrived as yet, making for a warmer then usual day. But the heat is not like that of the east coast where I was raised. I still remember the humid scorching summers there in the Bronx. As a kid, I'd sit there on the steps of our apartment building and daydream of an escape route, out of that concrete jungle. It was The Arther Godfrey TV program that introduced Hawaii to me. Thank you Arther. Funny how it actually happened. We are powerful that way, creating our dreams. The same applies to my art. Images falling from my mind to the computer screen and on the hard copy. We live in amazing times, all of us. My tropical studio is light years away from my childhood neighborhood. My art also, light years away from the traditional formats. Enjoy your day and seek your dreams.

Wow, you've been busy Charles. This all looks good, much more interesting than your older work. I look forward to the updates.
